In Plinius tradition, premium components have been used throughout. Class A operation is maintained to over 100w per channel while the 300w output capability in stereo mode is capable of directing and controlling the most demanding speaker systems.
The Plinius SA-Reference Amplifier embodies all that we have learned in the past few years and while modelled on the classic SA look it has been given some aesthetic changes to bring it into line with our present styling.
Sonically the SA-Reference paints a seemless picture from the most tuneful and accurate bass to a sweet, extended and extremely believable top end.
All Plinius SA-Reference Amplifiers are hand built and each has an individual build number engraved on the front panel.

The classic Plinius look has been maintained with the use of the distinctive heatsink profile. This feature has allowed us to produce an amplifier capable of operating in pure Class A up to 125w per channel without the use of troublesome fans or other methods used for cooling.
Balanced circuts used in the SA-103 allw full balanced mono operation in excess of 400 watts. The addition of another SA-103 will provide an amplification system capable of the highest level of excellence without totally breaking the bank.
As with all Plinius amplifiers, premium components have been used throughout. There is the addition of a 12v trigger which will allow integration into a semi automated system.
Sonically the SA-103 embodies all that we have learned and will paint a very believable and transparent facsimle of a live music event.

The Plinius design team decided there was a need for a 300 watt, SA-103 package and this is exactly what the SB-301 is. The basic circut topology is the same as the SA-103 but with a larger power supply and a more rugged output stage. The number of output devices is double that of the SA-103 and the two toroidal transformers are larger.
The SB-301 operates in Class AB bias and as such the standard temperature is lower than that encountered in our SA series designs.
The construction of the SB-301 is to the same extreme of quality as the rest of the Plinius line and offers the rugged dependability of the SA series design.
It is widely believed that as amplifier power increases the sonic ability diminishes. Clearly the SB-301 dispells this notion and will deliver all the dynamics, finesse and transparency that Plinius is renowned for.
The SB-301 is at home in the most demanding music or theatre applications and will perform flawlessly under the most arduous conditions.

The Plinius design team set about emulating the performance of a Plinius Class A amplifier in a form that could be built into a multichannel chassis without compromise.
Internally the Odeon is strikibg in both it's complexity and engineering excellence. The power supply is hugh and uses 4 transformers connected in parallel to provide the drive necesary for up to six channels delivering 200 watts continiously. The main circut board has the control circutry plus the initial power supply filtering. The full benefit of the power supply can be heard when the Odeon is uded in a two channel system, giving a sense of immence reserve regardless of the speaker demands.
There is further power supply filtering on the amplification modules and each single channel module is fitted with input and output terminals offering both single ended and balanced connections.
To future proof the Odeon, a Dual Channel Amplifier Module can be fitted at the time of purchase or easily added later as the system evolves. The 2 x 100w Dual Channel Module allows expansion up to twelve channels if necessary. Any combination of 5.1, 6.1, 7.1 is available and can be field fitted.
The Odeon can also be used in a two channel system as a stand alone tri-amplifier, delivering power and finesse to the most demanding speaker systems. The Plinius Odeon is a highly developed home theatre amplifier and will form the nucleus of the best multichannel or two channel system.

The Plinius Odeon development has had a dramatic effect on the design and implementation of this very desirable amplifier. The Odeon power supply has been mirriored in a smaller more cose effective way and the new circut uses faster driver devices with seperate input and driver stage power supply regulation. This has delivered an amplifier capable of true high-end performance.
The large toroidal transformer will allow the P10 to deliver power levels in excess of 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Difficult speaker load are driven with ease to the most satisfying levels, while maintaining control and finesse.
The ideal partner for the P10 is Plinius M8 preamplifier. These stable mates will combine to perfrom at the highest level. The P10 is also highly suited to multiple custom installation use.
The chassis has been fashioned from robust material including a forged and anodised fascia of gratifying solidity. The fascia and accents are available in either silver or black to match with other ancillary equipment
